A wastewater main break has been reported in Miami Beach.

The incident occurred on Indian Creek Drive near 69th Street.

The city of Miami Beach said it does not know how much wastewater leaked.

City representatives said crews were at the scene and had one valve shut down. They are working to cap the leak.

Several roads in the area are closed down.

Officials said drinking water in the area is not affected.

Miami Beach representatives said they expect to finish fixing the wastewater main by the end of Friday.

The cause of the break is unknown.
